I’ve been testing the Make Money Day Trader EA, and Trend Trade EA from Expert4x.com using the optimised settings provided. After 3 months forward testing, the results have been horrible. This shows us how optimised settings cannot be trusted, and it is much better to use settings that make sense as a starting point. Despite the losses on a DEMO account, I take this as a learning opportunity to do some analysis of the charts, and see what we can learn, and if there’s anything that can be salvaged.
